share space alien glare on horizon
one-man landing party prepares shuttle shivers
when sleep comes in space sleep
hyperspace chase distant engines future motoration
premature warning danger lost in space
missing days not persons not radiating
forge this communion with the stars
all these galaxies look the same
who watches me in this space
space to wait not time tireless
reassessing coordinates along space time continuum
not enough fuel for another circuit
oink sick in space not pigs
meteoric making up for lost time
back in time not past persistent
we only called it by number
it had no other identifiable marks
wonder at a signal not sight
something blocked the ship from continuing
andromeda's siren song lured men heavenward
mourning it floated along all synthetics
what looked like lips touched mine
take my hand spacewalk with me
humanoid life-forms pass without making contact
exploring heavens we discover none true
another universe conspiring to make happen
believe intelligent life will return here
our machine giveth and taketh away
go back in time however briefly
plot courses abroad follow computer models
